When I was a kid I had a paper run and every morning before school I would bike up to the dairy about 6am to collect the papers. One morning David Lange stopped in for a coffee he was heading to Wellington anyways he said to me, you are doing a really good job and bought me a pie a drink and some lollies. I have never forgot that encounter with him. No cameras, no phones he geniunly cared for his people. I miss that feeling of trust I once had
